Do I need to encode the dvd+r disk, how? Is there a program that I can just pull the movie from the file and click burn and it will put the movie on the dvd?

Can any one tell me how I can download A dvd to my computer and make a copy of it?

I bought a best of by the Faces. It’s 79 minutes 27 secs… pretty long. It played fine except for the last song. The cd player, a portable Panasonic, just stopped in the middle of the song. I tried my Bose; it played perfectly, same with my JVC boom box, no prob. I tried my other portable CD player, also a Panasonic; it would not play the last song. Same with my dvd player.
SO… I returned it for another copy. Same results! Additionally it also won’t play on my Windows Media Player.
It’s the strangest thing. I have NEVER had this happen with any of my other cds.
So, could it be the running time of the disc, the company did a bad pressing or the players?

I copied a movie with captions from utorrent to DVD super multi Drive in my HP computer by Windows media player or media classis. When I traied to wash it in my DVD player with DivX , it didn’t work because de codec DviX is off. What happened? What I have to do?

When I try to play DVD’s through WMP, the sound will be horrible (lots of noise) and i won’t be able to skip through bits (via the slider)(it glides but then snaps back to it’s original position).

How can i fix these problems?
The problem is that im trying to record off it and WMP works better than anything else ive tried at this…

I have two main media players and windows media player is the inferior of the two. I was wondering how I can set up windows media player to not automatically load a dvd when it is put in the tray as to save time and cpu usage.

I have a ton of videos that I downloaded from Ares, but now my computer is getting slow. So I need to get them off my computer. But I still want to be able to play them on windows media player and my dvd player. Can anyone help me?

There are 2 burners on my computer: Nero 3(installed when I bought the computer last year) and the Windows Media Player.

Every time I insert the disc in the computer to record a video in it.The windows media player says there is nothing in the drive.Do I need to download something or what?The disc is MAXELL DVD-R 1-16X 4.7 GB.

i downloaded a video file, it was a mpg file, and burned it to a disc, but it did not work. So which file do I need to download? Like AVI or MP4 or other? And what is a program I can use to burn DVD’s? I was told the Windows Media Player does not burn DVD’s.
