Does anyone know the name of the song in a camcorder commercial from a year or two ago - I think it was either Panasonic or Sony. The commercial was a young teenage boy making a little movie for his girlfriend and then quickly burning it to DVD -it partially set under a sky full of stars and the two of them sitting outside. That is the best I can remember. I know I am not giving anyone much to work with. Help me if you can- it was an older song!

I am looking for a DVD/Theater System (preferably Samsung/Sony/Panasonic) to match up to one of two projectors: Sony Bravia VPL-AW10 or Mitsubishi HC1500. I’m really hoping to keep it under 250$, unless there is something really special/necessity in a more price model. I am also connecting my Xbox360 w/HD-DVD up to the projector via HDMI/Component.

Any advice for a frustrated home entertainment newbie will be much appreciated.

I have a Sony HT-DD W665 home theatre system and a sony SLV-D350P VCR/DVD player that I am trying to hook up to an older Panasonic CTLl2881S tv. The problem is that I can’t seem to make the channels coinside. The audio will be one station and the video the other. I think that one of the problems is that the TV has an antenna hook up that has three co-axial terminals-ant 1, ant 2 and a split out. Or the problem might be that I just don’t know what the heck I’m doing! I have cable with no box.

I bought this on ebay 6 months ago for $ 600 It is Sony DAV-FR10W, with DVD player (no recorder) and 5 surround sound speakers. The sound of this is AWESOME. This unit sells new for $ 800 - $1,000. A dvd is stuck…local shop wants $80 to remove the stuck dvd. I really want to go out and buy a Sony DVD Recorder and Player for between $ 140 - $ 190 or so. Question: Will ANY Sony dvd recorder/player that I buy work ok …putting out the same AWESOME sound that this one has given ??? Or will it refuse to work well ? The back of my existing dvd player is Model # HCD-FR10W It has a 5 disc cd changer.

I have a Sony laptop model: PCG-GRZ660. the dvd/cd burn model is a Toshiba SD-R6012. I am using windows XP with sp2. the problem i am having is the dvd/cd burn will burn cds but wont burn dvds. it will read already burnt cds/dvds and dvd movies. when i put a blank dvd in there is no error but the dvd drive says there is ***** in the drive. i contacted sony about the problem and they just tell me to reinstall the drivers. wich did not work.

they then told me to reformant the computer…wich did not work. everything and anything i do will not fix this problem. i have tryed 3 diffenret types of blank dvds and have tryed using nero, roxio, alcohol 120% to burn with and nothing works.

i have been reading on some forms websites that some people are having the same problem and to upgrade the firmware..
but when i go to update the firmware it gives me an
error saying “could not be found CD-Drive for this
program”.

please help!

I have a DVD recorder with a hard drive but when i put things on to a disc they don’t play on a computer or other DVD players.

What format do i record on to enable normal DVD playback?
What format in terms of how many MG on the disc. SP LP etc
