Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 its like 4-5 years old, 2.8 ghz, 512 mb ram Pentium 4. I am looking for something under 100 dollars. It not for any special use just trying to put some movies onto dvd’s.
what is this dual layer you speak of? I was just going with external cause I figured it would be easier for me.

Will new HD-DVD movies continue to be released?

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Toshiba will no longer manufacture HD-DVD players. Does that also mean that no more new movies will be released on HD-DVD in the future?

Someone fill me in. What’s the latest news? Will any new movies be released on HD-DVD in the future?

Hi do Blu-ray & HD-DVD have equal same picture?

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

Hi both Blu-ray & HD-DVD formats supports 1080P & 7.1 Channel. The only difference is that Blu-ray has 50GB & it’s from Sony Co. & HD-DVD it has 30Gb & from Toshiba Co. Yes I do know that HD-DVD lose the format war but, I want to know do Blu-ray & HD-DVD has the same 1080P picture? Many people say that Blu-ray picture has ultra HD picture greater then HD-DVD picture? Is that true? Thank you!

Note: During the format war, I use to supported both formats.
The only thing that I do not like Blu-ray is that some movies have grainy picture but, HD-DVD it has clear picture.

Why is it when you clone a dvd the file is the same but when you just copy it, the file size lowers?

Monday, November 9th, 2009

I backup my dvd movies with dvd fab by using the clone mode. When i use clone mode the dvd is exactly the same file size as the original but when i copy it using the full disk mode the file decreases in size. I was wondering why is that? I use full disk mode to change the volume name on the disk.

If a dvd player says it plays dvd-r/-rw does that mean that mean that is all it plays?

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

I bought this dvd player and it says it plays dvd, dvd-r/-rw, cd-r/-rw. But my burnt movies are on dvd+rw discs. Does that mean it won’t read them?
