i recorded a tv show using my dvd recorder and i want to edit it with my computer and post it on youtube but my computer can’t read the disc.what is the problem??

My cousins just sent me some DVDs but they won’t work anywhere except on my laptop. I tried playing them on our DVD/VHS players, we have a Sony one and a Toshiba one…but it keeps saying “check system”. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be checking for. Any clues as to how to make this work? I asked my cousins and they said it seemed to be working just fine when they watched it =S

My old mp3 player the hard drive failed and I lost mp3s and keepsake photos. To safeguard this time, I want to back up what I am putting on my new ipod to DVD’s. Is it possible to do that and make a DVD’s version of a data CD?

Even better can some dvd’s play 5 gigs of music in dvd players if they’re loaded with mp3s.

Some .avi files dont play on windows media player but can they still be burned to dvd and works on dvd players?

i have nero, i have avi files i want to convert them into video_ts and audio_ts and burn them on DVD to play on a regular DVD player

plaqyer might only play minus DVD’s & they are a +. Is it as simple as to have her re record them on minus DVD’s? Or is there some other reason?

I Have alreday downloaded a movie off of Limewire. How do I add it to a DVD so I can play it in my DVD player? Thanks!

It powers up, and the disk is spinning, but the DVD does not play - I am using the same region DVD as the player. Are there any tech savvy people out there that could give me a hint of what it might be? Is it most likely just a cleaning it needs? How do I clean a portable DVD player properly?

I already having a cd player.it has stopped working well.1)i am planning to buy a MULTIPURPOSE DVD WRITER, which can play,write,re-write CD’S as well as DVD’S ( is it called a COMBO DVD WRITER?)2) please mention how much APPROX it will cost?3)which brand is long lasting with minimum fault?4)as i am intrested in an external one , can it have a bluetooth facility or will it be necessarily connected by wiring?(please mention any model having above specifications which is available) 5)we do not upgrade quite often, only once in say 6-7yrs or so therefore we do not mind to purchase a latest equipment,with latest multifunctional features(ie.like having bluetooth facility or so, supports or goes in any sort of ports or plays any type of cd/dvd even if it is a scratched one, on which a person can rewrite a nos of times, which does not become obselete in next 7yrs or so). please suggest best one as per your knowledge.
