I tried burning a DVD to watch in my TV with DVD player but it wanted the raw DVD files, it would not let me burn mpg or avi.

How do i burn an avi or mpg to watch on my TV?

Nero is what i had…..obviously it did not work…..

I have a DVD Burner but when i try to Burn DVD’s it says Disk is copy protected. Is there a FREE software i can download so i can burn these DVD’s. Thanks

Okay here’s the deal. I use to have dvd copy to burn movies that I would rent. But it just stopped working on day. So I removed it from my PC. So now a days I just download my movies from torrent sites. But I don’t know how to burn them to a Dvd. I have a DVD burner. And I want to know if a simple/basic/easy/user friendly program that allows me to burn my movies to a dvds. The ones I have tired in the past were sooooo hard to use. And it took like 8 hours to burn ONE movie. that’s ridiculous. So PLEASE help me out. I need to find something FREE. And something easy!! I want to burn my downloaded movies to a dvds and enjoy them on my dvd player. So PLEASE help! Remember…. I NEED easy!!!! Simple and something that burns movies FAST!!1 not a whole day!

ok so i burned a dvd using nero 7 and it works fine on my computer and stuff but i tried it on my ps2 and dvd players but it wont work … so if anyone could helop that would be great:)

I am burning a dvd and I need to know what format my dvd player can play. I have no idea though.
I live in canada but its showing formats for the USA and europe.

I’m fed up with Nero’s clumsy interface and slow speeds.
Also: why do you like your preferred program?
I’d rather know of alternatives to Nero, actually. I find it slow and not very user friendly. Not as much control as I’d like to have. It’s too simplified and ends up pissing me off.

I was wondering if anyone knows what website I should go to to burn DVD’S off it for free. I would not like to pay the people $ to burn them. I would not mind signing up for it as long as it does not involve me paying $ to them. PS. if I slide a DVD in my computer, it says that there is no DVD on Windows media player. What should I download for me to be able to watch the movies on my computer? Please help!

I have AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 that I am using to burn my DVD’s. About half of them burn just fine…but the other ones either get pixilated throughout or they burn fine for a few chapters then “stick” and won’t play several. I’ve tried burning at different speeds but it hasn’t entirely alleviayed the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?
