I already have a dvd burner on my computer I just want to know about getting it to burn to blank dvd’s. I heard I’ll need a dvd decoder but I’m not sure! Thanx!!

I have a DVD burner/cd burner, The software ( adobe photoshop elements ), & the discs. Says it has been done succesfully…. but the DVD wont read & play the disc?… Also, It took 3 hours to burn it. Is that typical?… I just got additional speed on my Pc & I have 86% free space.

I have a Toshiba Satellite a205 but the cd burner/dvd burner is not working, i try to burn a cd but it keeps throwing error messages at me and i just put a cd in it and it doesnt read it either. Do I need to install something for it to be read or what can I do?

I downloaded Windows Vista yesterday and Microsoft said I have to burn the ISO to A DVD to execute it. Is there a way around this so I don’t have to transfer it to my main computer and use that DVD burner?

I have Photo Story 3 where I import my pictures and create a slideshow. I then would like to burn the slideshow onto a dvd disc which I do have a dvd burner. The program I use is Nero which came with my computer and it doesn’t seem to want to burn it. It says that’s it’s not “compatible”…well I don’t know how to make it compatible. I then bought the download for Sonic DVD for Photo Story 3 because I was told this will work, well I can’t even finish installing it for some reason. I can’t open the set up on it.
I’d prefer not to buy anything else, my budget won’t really allow me to go buy an expensive program. Help please! Thank you.

When I try to burn a dvd through windows media player it says connect a burner and restart but if I use a different software it let’s me burn a dvd.

Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this problem?

I just bought this Sony Vaio with a DVD burner, but I can’t find a program that will let me make a DVD out of video clips! I have Windows XP and used to use Nero, but when I went to the site to download it and install it, it said “serial number expired.” I tried this on several sites, same thing…

I need to hook up a TV with front AV jacks and rear RF jack, a DVR from charter, and a DVD burner.
My cablebox/DVR unit does not have an RF out, so I can’t just follow the manual.
