How do I create a DVD disk or an movie CD especially when the file needed to be burned is bigger than the disc?

For example disk space is 696 MB and movie’s is 702 MB. That is when I use a regular CD to make a movie CD. When using a DVD it always gives me an error message after preparing the disk for more than 40 minutes to be burned as a DVD. I tried using the Quick player and also Nero before. Don’t have a clue what to do next.

I have Led Zeppelin Mothership CD/DVD and listed is The Ocean on DVD. Mine is missing?

has anyone else had this problem. I have swapped it out at Best Buy but the 20 song DVD set list is missing the ocean on the first DVD and now the second one I swapped. I have googled it but no one seems to say anything about that being a listed but missing track.

my laptop dvd/cd drive isnt working ?

i have a toshiba satellite m45 and the cd-dvd drive isnt working
and when i go to my computer the driver icon isn’t even there
i went to device manager and the dvd/cd ram drive as a yellow circle with a exclamation mark in it

is it true using markers to write on media such as CD’s or DVD’s damages them?

does anyone know from experience if this is actually true? i read that using a sharpie on dvd or cd will damage them because chemicals on the ink will oxidize the metal on the dvd/cd. I also heard that it was ok to use sharpies on printable dvd’s because the white layer protects the writeable part of the media. are these 2 statements true?

Help! with sonic copy cd/dvd, after copying some dvds, says my selected drive is full, please free up 0KB? How?

i have toshiba A100, when i play cd/dvd, the rate of playing is slower than that of normal play, the movie goes slow, the sounds pitched lower, what should i do? i have been losing the excitement of watching dvd/listening to cd because of this problem. cheers

DVD/CD BUrner not working?

Ok ive read through all the questions and some where kinda like my problem then again they werent.

I guess we had gotten this bad virus that messed up our CD drives…both my CD and DVD Drives…but we have finally gotten rid of all our pesky viruses [i love norton..its sersiously they best]

anyways the CD-rom works great….plays All cds..

my DVD-RW will play CDS but doesnt recognize blank CDS
when i put a blank CD in it’ll run then stop running
and ill try to build the list up and then burn the CD and ive lowered the writing speed…uninstall and reinstalled the driver…ive cleaned the driver tried to update my driver…Im using Imation’s and memorex.

ive used these programs:
windows player
nero
sonic
real player
i even tried draggin and dropping

ive only been able to burn 2 cds out of 12??
lol it says the drives working properly and everything

yet bestbuy.com doesnt have the dvd…
but target does?
