I just got a panasonic vdr d210 video camera that takes dvds. It saves them in dvd format (.vob) and i want to convert them to ntsc or any other that will work in windows movie maker. I dont mind spending money but i dont wanna buy it over the internet. If anyone knows of a retail software or just a freeware one that works good i would greatly appreciate it. Who evers suggestion i like best ill give 10 points.

there are some freeware programs called mac the knife and handbrake that can be used to copy dvds. you might be able to get that to convert to a format usable by movie maker. when looking for them, google is your friend.

you don’t have to convert or anything
for straight copying, any software that came with your DVD will work
